Hi, I'm Maggie!
I came to Charleston, SC, over 20 years ago and loved it so much that I never left! Since March 2007, I have been a massage therapist at Kiawah Island's 5-star resort, The Sanctuary. You can also find me teaching women's self-defense classes to students at The College of Charleston a couple of days a week.
In my free time, I love to surf, train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, travel, and hang with my family, friends, and two dogs. I started officiating weddings when a good friend approached me. It was my year of saying YES with curiosity to all the new opportunities that came my way. This one has stuck and is growing. In 2023, I took my officiating outside of the Charleston area by overseeing my first international ceremony in Barcelona, Spain!
Working with Me
When you hire me, you get more than just someone showing up at your wedding. I want to get to know you individually and as a couple. Hearing your story allows me to create a custom ceremony designed by and for you. We will meet prior to your big day either in person (if in Charleston) or by phone to go over all the logistics. You also have the option of having me attend your rehearsal.
I will show up to your big day early, professionally dressed, and ready to go!
